Based in Alabama, Max Grelier serves as the Co-Founder at RCP Companies. RCP is a boutique real estate company focusing on providing acquisition, development, and asset management programs for its partners.
The call for Max’s entrance into real estate and entrepreneurship began to take hold after a summer working construction on one of his dad’s projects. After witnessing his dad on the job of the development process and the entrepreneurial nature of what he was doing, Max knew that his future lay somewhere between entrepreneurship and real estate.
After graduating from Loyola University with a BS-BA in Finance & Economics, Max Grelier joined a regional real estate consulting firm in New Orleans. From there, he went on to lead the development and asset management divisions at NAI Chase Commercial. Max made a 15 year impression at that company and oversaw property assignments of over three million property assignments and was involved in over $250 million in real estate development and acquisition activities. These projects included shopping centers, mixed-use, and suburban office buildings in Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee.
After an extremely successful tenure at the Ledges of Huntsville from 1996-2001, a 75-acre development which help a private country club and an 18-hole championship golf course with a 250 unit residential community. Max moved into his current position at RCP, having procured over $400 million in mixed-use development opportunities for RCP and its partners.
In addition to his work, Max is a proud member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
When he’s not working, Max Grelier keeps busy with his 5 kids. He loves traveling, watching some great college football games (I mean, he’s from Huntsville) and trying his hand in the kitchen as he tries to recreate that great southern cooking he’s immersed in.
